CoraCo Studio

Privacy

This is the studio-level privacy notice for CoraCo Studio and the apps we publish. Individual apps may add more detail in-product. This page is the baseline. Last updated: September 30, 2026.

This site uses the visitor's approximate country, from their IP address, only to choose the language, and does not store it.

Who we are

CoraCo Studio publishes consumer apps. Public contact is [email protected]. Studio home base is Henderson, Nevada ZIP 89074. We do not put a personal name or personal email on store listings or this notice.

Photos and Identify

Some CoraCo Studio apps include an Identify action. When you use Identify, the app may send the photo you chose to Google Gemini so it can return a result (for example, a fastener size and a matching tool). If you do not use Identify, that photo is not sent for identification.

Saves

Where an app notes that Saves are local, those saved items stay on your device. We do not upload local Saves as part of the Identify request unless the app clearly asks you to identify that item again.

We do not sell photos

CoraCo Studio does not sell your photos. We do not use your photos for advertising. Photos sent for Identify are used to complete that request.

Location and maps (Keep Right Maps™ and GroceryAisles)

Some apps ask for location permission (approximate or precise), or use map and search services based on OpenStreetMap and similar providers.

Keep Right Maps™ (right-turn-first route planning; traffic features are not offered in the current build):

GroceryAisles:

You can often deny location and still use name, city, or store search where the app allows it.

Named city only (Side Quests of Curiosity™)

Side Quests of Curiosity does not use GPS and does not ask for location permission. You type or pick a named city (or similar). The app surveys curiosities relative to that named place.

On the Android app (the Play / Closed-testing build), the named city or place you enter is sent only to public geodata and reference sources used to run Look — for example Nominatim / OpenStreetMap, Overpass, Photon, Zippopotam (for US ZIP codes), and English Wikipedia / Wikimedia. That Look path does not upload the named city to a CoraCo server.

Past reports kept in the app stay on your device. Still images for reports are Wikipedia or Wikimedia thumbnails, or bundled featured art (for example the New Orleans featured report) — not Grok Imagine or other generative-AI stills produced for Look.

What we do not do

Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13. Side Quests of Curiosity™ may be rated Teen / 12+ because featured historical copy can reference alcohol or historical drug tonics (reference only, not for sale in-app). That is a content rating matter, separate from this privacy notice.
